Our Locations

Our Churchtown centre, which is located in a large detached house, has recently been extended and refurbished. There are five bright and airy rooms for your child to learn and grow, with activities planned around their emerging interests. We also have a large, split-level back garden, with different areas for your child to explore and have fun in.

Wobbler Room

Wobbler Room

Children move into the wobbler room from 12 months, based on their own individual needs. At this age, your child really starts to get moving, so they have lots of space to crawl, move and explore, with mats and foam shapes for your child to climb on and learn to walk. There are construction blocks, bricks, books and soft toys, all at their level, to encourage your child to play and interact with the other children and carers. While children are gaining more independence at this age, warm and trusting relationships with their carers are very important; carers are attentive to the needs and routines of the children in this room, and daily records are kept for each child.

Toddler Room

Toddler Room

Toddlers usually toddle into this room from 2 years. This bright, spacious room has recently been extended, and is filled with lots of toys, jigsaws, books, as well as a home corner, car corner and a sandpit, for your child to learn about the world they live in, and have fun with their friends. Language comes on in leaps and bounds here, and we make sure to keep them busy with art projects, reading books and talking to them about their interests. There is a reading area with couches, where they can relax and have a rest. There is also direct access to the back garden, so the fun can continue outdoors!

Pre-Montessori Room

Toddler Room

Children move upstairs to the pre-Montessori room from 3 years. This can be a big transition for children, so we make sure to give them time to revisit their friends downstairs when they wish. There are more table-based activities in this room, getting children used to sitting down and doing their jigsaws and early Montessori activities. However, there is also lots of time for pushing back the tables and using their imagination, with a kitchen area, dressing up clothes and a construction area to choose from.

Montessori Room

Children become big boys and girls when they move into the Montessori room! We have a fully-equipped Montessori classroom, and children love learning independently with these practical and colourful activities. Our trained Montessori teachers provide an excellent start to your child's education, while also engaging them in other activities, like art, messy play, imaginative play and lots of colouring and drawing. Our Montessori children love to help out with setting up for meals and art time, and help with pouring drinks and tidying up after dinner. We have defined areas of interest, like the reading corner, home area, and an explorer area, where the children can choose where they would like to play.

Garden

Toddler Room

There is a large outdoor area out the back, with lots of different areas for children to play with, with jungle gyms, grassy areas, a shady area and a home corner. We think outdoor play is essential for children of all ages, and we try to let them play in all weather conditions, from sun to snow! We ensure that, regardless of weather, your child is dressed appropriately for playing outside.

In our Rathfarnham centre, we have four spacious rooms centred around learning through play and exploration. We also have two outdoor areas, where children can really have fun, having picnics, making obstacle courses, planting flowers and vegetables.

In this centre, we take children from 1 years of age. Your child really starts to get moving, so they have lots of space to crawl, move and explore, with mats and tunnels for your child to climb on and learn to walk.

We also have a smaller outdoor area upstairs, which is perfect for circle time and picnics during the summer.
